Update #6 Surgery

Arrived at hospital at 5:20am. Ruth was unable to receive IV dye at 6:45am as scheduled. Was finally able to reschedule at 8:15am. Surgery at 9:20am. Ruth went in smiling, at peace, and knowing God was right by her side through it all. After 2 1/2 hours, Dr. Christian came out and reported a very successful surgery. Praise God! Nothing was found in the lymph nodes, but had some samples sent to pathology to be tested. - Results in a week. The doctor felt everything was removed, but she will receive chemo as a precaution. Reconstructive surgery followed and that also went very well. She is in intensive care right now. There is a good possibility she will be going home tomorrow 5/23. Thanks for all your prayers so far.
